Self-adhesive labels on rolls without printing are primarily used for quick and straightforward labeling of products or packaging. These blank labels are frequently utilized in logistics and the food industry. We distinguish between two popular types of labels:
Thermal transfer labels - These labels are printed using a thermal transfer ribbon. This printing method is characterized by high durability and resistance to mechanical and chemical factors, depending on the ribbon used. Available paper finishes include matte, semi-gloss, and glossy.
Direct thermal labels - These labels do not require thermal transfer ribbons; instead, printing occurs through heat generated by the thermal print head. They are used in applications where long-term durability is not required.
